Acting together against hate

NEWTON — Asked last week if it was important for a vigil to be held Sunday afternoon, Erin Jacobus said she told the questioner, "it is not. It's vitally imperative we hold it."

Sara Sheikh, of the Council on American Islamic Relations, said, "We have entered a new era and it's important we stand united and remember that love conquers hate."
